Whiskey Club emerged from a post-industrial wasteland in the cold, wet summer of 2023 with the sudden inspiration to write his first song ‘Don‘t Say My Name’, after a lifetime of playing other people’s material. This fired up a previously dormant passion for song-writing. Whiskey club writes lyrically intense songs - typically ballads - set to music influenced by rock, blues, jazz and soul… and then tries to sing them 😊.
