SONG OF THE YEAR
We are honored to have joined such amazing artists in the 2024 Neil on the Radio Awards. Song of the Year has a really nice ring to it!
Thanks to all of you who have given us so much love!
Congratulations in particular to our sister Deedra Patrick and our new friends Sanctity of Crows!
Thanks again Neil!
May your 2025 be plentiful!
THE FLYING BEETS
Formed in late Spring of 2022, featuring singer/songwriter Nathan Waller, DC on Bass and Alexis on Drums.
Drawing on many rock influences, from The Beatles to Nirvana, the band's music combines catchy hooks, driving tempos, and a pop sensibility that can easily find a home on any indie-rock fan's playlist.
Recently nominated by Fort Worth Weekly for best song of 2024 with “Maybe Baby” and best video with “The Stupid Way You Breathe”, the Flying Beets continue to enjoy indie music success as they charted as high as 176 nationally on the College Radio Charts with “The Stupid Way You Breathe” (unweighted) and 205 (weighted), enjoying 9 weeks on the charts, 8 of which in the top 300.
Though The Flying Beets are a relatively new band, having formed in the Spring of 2022 and releasing the first single in October of 2023, their music showcases a maturity and depth that belies their short existence. Having reached well over 33K listeners on Spotify and surpassed over 150K streams, their most recent success finds them with over 100K views of their inaugural aforementioned video for “The Stupid Way You Breathe” and their follow up for “Better Off Alone” hot on its trail as it approaches 90K.
The band continues to write, record, and perform, and look forward to releasing singles throughout the year.
NEW RELEASE
Leaning on a rock-a-billy/alt country influence, Don’t Let Me Notice showcases the diverse nature of the band and is expected to be among their most successful efforts thus far. Recorded at Forth Worth Sound and produced by The Flying Beets and Bart Rose.
